Teaching Practice
Tracie Penwarden is widely recognised as a major exponent of vocal technique and has built up a very successful teaching practice which specialises in safe singing.
No matter what your standard or experience, Tracie's experience as a teacher will ensure that your improvement will be as safe and natural as possible thus avoiding some of the throat nasties that you sometimes read about regarding untrained voices. Tracie can accommodate beginners and professionals alike and, should you regard these statistics as important, has yet to have a pupil fail any musical examination. Recently, students have been cast for lead and chorus at the Lancaster Grand Theatre (Annie and Evita) and several have gone on to study music and singing at Trinity College of Music, Brighton Institute of Modern Music, Mountview Academy of Performing Arts, Italia Conti, York University, Leeds University, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and the Royal Northern College of Music, but most sing purely for fun. You are never too old to learn and in June 2013 one of Tracie's pupils gained her Associate diploma from Trinity College of Music at the tender age of 75! |
